We are super excited to be attending the Craft4Crafters Show at the Bath & West Showground for the first time this year from Thursday 11 to Saturday 13 April 2019.

I’ve got to be honest, I’m not the best film-maker in the world. I’ve got no ambitions to submit anything to Cannes, or to tread the red carpet on the way to collect an Oscar.

This video shows the insulated workshop we have recently designed and installed here at the display site, we call it the Man Cave.  I know, sorry ladies, we could have called it the She Shed – but I have exciting plans for one of those in the future!  In fact, there is of course absolutely no reason why it can’t be used by anyone for anything.

You might have seen our new ‘Oak Fronted’ carport, which looks very special. John built this one for the display site and it looks fantastic.

You may well have an understanding of what your timber building will look like in your head, but we do have to work within the confines of the materials we use. The one thing we check carefully when it comes to your roof is the load and aesthetics.

I’m hanging on to Summer by my fingernails as Autumn is taking hold across Devon and my mind wanders to the new Man Cave we’ve designed and installed here at the display site. I know, sorry ladies, we could have called it the She Shed – but I have exciting plans for one of those in the future!  In fact, there is of course absolutely no reason why it can’t be used by anyone for anything.

So, summer is over, or is it? How can you make the most of your garden in the months ahead? We have just the answer! One of the Shields Buildings amazing Summerhouses will give you the perfect solution for being able to eat outside on those chilly evenings, or to enjoy sitting outside enjoying your garden as the days get cooler. 

It’s been a busy summer for us here at Shields Buildings. We have put up several more display buildings, so there are some lovely new buildings on show for you to see. They are the Sidmouth Summerhouse at 4m x 3m, an insulated Man Cave at 3.5m x 2.5m and a useful new 3m x 2.4m garden shed.

Back when Barack Obama won the US Presidential Elections, the large Hadron Collider first fired up and Lehman Brothers filed for liquidation, Stewart and Chris came to Shields Buildings for a his and hers office.
