WOODEN CARPORT - FEATURED CASE STUDIES
This one was a slightly different job, with Mrs Shields as the customer!
For a long time, Jacqueline wanted somewhere safe and dry to house her car, but with only a single carport, it wasn’t a possibility. With a new car on the horizon for 2021 it was now going to have to get to the top of the list of priorities.
Rather than installing another carport or garage and taking up more space, John and Jacqueline decided on a double carport, which would provide more than enough room for both vehicles.
They retired and downsized in South Devon, they found a great property. But there was one thing missing. Outbuildings! Within weeks of moving to their new home, Peter and Julie arrived at Shields Buildings to look at our display products. Being experts in outdoor buildings and storage solutions, we understood just how urgently they needed somewhere to put their possessions. The thing is, they didn’t know exactly what they were looking for, but wanted somewhere to protect their cars and to store their goods. John was able to offer some useful suggestions for them.
"We’ve been so impressed with the service and quality of the work done by Shields. From start to finish the experience was fantastic. The fact that John Shields came to our property and carried out the survey and explained everything showed us that this company cared and gave personal service. We are so pleased with the end product and are making full use of the new space. Thanks to all the team!"
Mr and Mrs F's CarportMr Flowers contacted us as he didn’t want a standard garage, but a combination building for use as a carport and workshop.
"I would like to say how pleased we are with the new garage and workshop. The price was extremely good and excellent value. Your workmen did an exceptional job in preparing and laying the groundworks and completing the garage and workshop with the minimum of fuss. I would definitely recommend Shields Buildings to anyone who wants a timber building."
Mr Flowers - Timber Carport and Workshop with Log StoreMr B came to us with the aim of upgrading his existing concrete parking space to a carport that would protect his vehicles, together with a charging point for his electric car.
We designed the carport with an offset ridge, which makes it easy for solar panels to be added to it, allowing him to charge his electric car for free!
"I am delighted with our new carport, it is so nice to have a beautiful bespoke timber building of our own!"
