Enjoy the summer in your very own Summer House and savour the peace and tranquillity whilst being sheltered from the weather. Garden Summer Houses are on a lot of peoples’ bucket lists, so they need to be perfect. We work with you to design, build and install a Summer House that surpasses expectations with a superior finish throughout.
There are 2 Summer House designs in the Shields Buildings range: the Salcombe, which is a super example of a cosy garden room with an attractive pyramid shaped natural cedar roof and the Sidmouth, which is a versatile Garden Summer House in a range of sizes with a robust pent roof.
Both buildings come unlined as standard, keeping the wood cladding visible, which gives a lovely rustic feel, or you can choose to have your Summer House lined with tongue and groove pine lining. Your building can be painted or stained to give it a contemporary look, ideal for blending into your garden setting.
Garden Summer Houses have glazed doors and deep windows giving you a bright, natural garden room. Our most popular size is 2.5m wide x 2.5m deep with an attractive natural cedar shingle pyramid apex roof, giving plenty of room and height inside.
Whilst this may look like a typical Summer House, we were in fact asked to design the timber building to provide somewhere suitable for the customer to work from home as well as enjoy the garden setting. Therefore, the building benefits from insulation and has full height double glazed windows, making it an ideal home office; warm, dry, comfortable and light.
Thank you for the very professional and efficient way Beverley's garden room has been designed and put up by John and all the team. We are very pleased with the building and your service and will definitely recommend you.
