While it’s cooled down a little bit over the last couple of days, and there are a few more showers on the agenda, I think it’s fair to say that the weather’s turned the corner in the last week. After the bleak midwinter, the daffodils are out, and it really does feel like there are reasons for optimism everywhere.
We had a beautiful walk on Saturday, and then I went for a solo run the following day, and just being outside and enjoying the warmth of the sun felt special.
And the positive news on the weather is definitely being paralleled by what we’re seeing in the fight against this dreaded virus – less of the grim statistics, and a lot more of the ones we want to see: vaccinations into people’s arms!
It really does feel that spring is here, in more ways than one – a new dawn that will usher in a return to normality. Yes, things aren’t going to be “the same” for a while, but – fingers crossed - in less than a month now we’ll be able to welcome visitors into our gardens, as the restrictions are gradually loosened.
And what’s clear from our order book is that lots of our customers are preparing for that moment and beyond, with the great British garden likely to be the star of many people’s shows this year.
If you’ve been thinking about getting your garden sorted, and you know that a timber garden building would play a key role in that process, then please get in touch, and we’ll be happy to talk about how we can help.
