Combination building

Flexibility frenzy

Last week I spoke about our brand new combination display building; part ‘place to get your head down and get something done’ and part ‘place to store all your tools’.

I knew it would be popular – after all, we built it because it’s a timber garden building we’ve been asked for a lot over the last couple of years.

But what surprised me was just how many people got in touch to express interest – as it turns out, there’s rather a lot of you that fancy some flexible space in your garden.

In truth, perhaps I shouldn’t have been surprised.  Life has changed a lot in the last year, and with the latest stats suggesting that only 20% of workers want to go back to the office full-time, it stands to reason that a lot more work-from-home space needs creating.

It will be really interesting to see what happens over the coming months, as the pandemic subsides (fingers crossed) and life gets back to something approaching normality – do you think things have changed forever? It will be interesting to see!
