 It’s fair to say that since we rolled into December, things are getting more than a little festive in the Shields household.

It was my daughter Ellie’s 21^st birthday celebration over the weekend, so we all headed into the Big Smoke for some festivities.

John and I have just returned from one of the best holidays we’ve EVER had – 7 days sailing around the Adriatic.

And so they return

Despite the unbelievable weather we had last week, one thing is clear: summer’s over.
