We had a great time at the Okehampton Show last week – thank you to everyone who came to the stand.

(My favourite visitor was a customer who’d had a chicken house built 30 years ago, still going strong!)

One thing that was clear from the chats we had is that for lots of folk, the end is nigh. Not in any sort of morbid way you understand; I’m talking purely about the summer.

Now we’re more than halfway through August, attention is switching towards the autumn, the kids going back to school and getting back into a routine.

And plenty of the people we spoke to were seeing September as the perfect time to get the ball rolling on their garden building, with the aim of getting it in before the end of the year.
