And so they return

Despite the unbelievable weather we had last week, one thing is clear: summer’s over.

It’s evident in the increased traffic on the roads, in the blazered children waiting for the bus, in the nights beginning to draw in.

And it’s evident in the Shields Family too – this is the week we ferry both the girls back to university, take a breath, and then get on with that mounting list of “to dos”.
