Treat yourself to a new timber garage

A sectional timber garage provides a warm and dry environment for your vehicles and sundry equipment. More often than not, the building will have a bespoke design to maximize the use of space, which can incorporate a workshop or hobby area, we will work with you to provide the perfect building for your space and needs.

The timber used is joinery grade European redwood from renewable sources, pressure treated with preservatives for a maintenance free treatment against rot. In addition to this, your building will have 2 coats of Log Cabin water proofer applied to all the walls, unless you have ordered a painted or stained finish. This reduces water penetrating the timber.

Our standard roof is plastisol steel sheeting, a very durable product with a life of over 30 years. To enhance the appearance of your timber garage you may like to consider a cedar shingle, felt shingle or slate roof. We use both natural grey-green Brazilian and anthracite Spanish slates.

Shields Buildings are able to offer an additional turnkey service which includes site clearance, planning applications, base work (in certain situations), construction, delivery and installation.
