You might have seen that Banksy’s popped up again – a brand new piece appeared last week in Margate. Despite the joy of a new Banksy being discovered, that joy is tempered with the subject matter, which is pretty heavy.
The temperature might have dropped again, but this is a very different cold snap to the last one. Back in December, it felt like we really were in the depths of winter, with months of cold stretched out ahead of us.
With both girls safely deposited back to university, John and I are empty nesters once again. (Until reading week anyway!) But rather than sit around, wondering what they’re getting up to, I decided not to let the grass grow under my feet last weekend, and headed down to Looe – the delightful Cornish fishing port on the south coast.
