Like the unwelcome guest knocking on the door when you’ve just put your dressing gown on and settled down to a nice film, lockdown is back. Thankfully, I think it will be a little different this time.
For a start, the schools are open, which means our girls won’t be on the sofa for the next month. And secondly, I think lots of people will be as close to ‘business as usual’ as possible.
For many millions in the UK, it means a return to ‘work from home’, and if there’s a sense of permanence about your commute to the kitchen table now, then it might be time to think about a more spacious, dedicated space.
That’s where our range of offices and studios come in – click here to check out exactly what you can get with a bespoke garden office from Shields Buildings.
From our perspective, we’re going to keep on keeping on.
Following government advice around the importance of carrying on work if you can’t do so from home, we’ll be in our workshop, out on location installing buildings and making sure our customers have everything that they need.
And as it’s outdoor, you’re still welcome to come and have a nose at our buildings at the Farm – if you’d like to talk to a member of staff, then just let us know before you come and we’ll make sure someone is available.
We will also be continuing to offer virtual tours and calls too, so if you can’t make it to us but you want to talk timber garden buildings, we’ll make it happen.
This isn’t what any of us want. But with a lot more clarity on what we need to do going forward, I’m confident we can all get through this together.
And if we can help you to do that, in any way, please just let us know.
