Twelfth night has been and gone, the tree’s down and the decorations have been stowed safely away for another year – we’re now, undeniably in a New Year.
There’s something about January that makes it just that little bit more challenging to get things done, with dark mornings and evenings tempting us to draw the curtains, put the kettle on and hibernate until Spring.
But here’s the thing: doing this stops us from doing what we told ourselves we would do.
You see, at the end of each year, we’re always telling ourselves that we’ll get things done in the ‘New Year’.
In other words, we put them off, because they’re inconvenient or difficult.
I know, I do it myself!
But when the ‘New Year’ rolls around, it’s very easy to procrastinate further, and say, ‘I’ll do that before Easter’.
Which can mean putting off things that would bring you joy.
And what’s why, if ‘sorting garden building’ is on your 2020 list, I urge you to get the ball rolling on it now.
Otherwise you’ll find Easter is here before you know it, and the summer fast approaching, without a garden building to enhance your enjoyment of it.
And what better way to get started than to join us for our next Open Day on Saturday January 18th.
We will be here from 10am to 3pm and there’ll be plenty of hot drinks and cookies.
More importantly, you’ll have the chance to see our buildings up close and personal, ask any questions you need the answers to and work out which building is right for you.
Coming? Super, we look forward to seeing you.
