We’re big rugby fans here in the Shields household, so you can imagine our delight when the Exeter Chiefs won on Saturday – fingers crossed for the double this weekend! In truth, John’s the rugby nut (although I enjoy it a lot too), and if you live with an egg-shaped aficionado, you’ll know that the calendar is somewhat dictated by the international calendar.
February and March are always Six Nations season, with November the designated Autumn International month. And for me, this means that this time of year really is incredible evocative – the days get darker and shorter, there’s a chill in the air and the international rugby’s about to begin.
It’s a time to hunker down, get the heating on and spend time inside, and that’s the case for your car too.
What lots of people never consider is that the winter elements really can have a big impact on your car - from the paintwork, to the engine, to the battery - all of which can be mitigated with a nice, cosy bespoke timber garage. Unsurprisingly, we’ve had our fair share of garage enquiries recently, and if you want to shield your vehicle from the worst of the winter, we need to talk soon!
Just give us a call, or send us an email to sales@shieldsbuildings.co.uk - take a look at some garage and carport examples here.
