I was in Holland last week.
My mum has always wanted to see the Dutch tulips in their natural habitat, and this year, the stars aligned and we made it happen.
First stop: the Keukenhof Gardens, billed as “the most beautiful spring garden in the world”.
I did have one, tiny concern though – the weather.
They’d had it as bad as us in Holland, and if it had been chucking it down, it would have rather taken the shine off.
Thankfully, I needn’t have worried – we had the good kind of shine instead, with a lovely, sunny day giving us the most glorious day there, and my mum a very special item ticked off the bucket list.
Inspired by the incredible tulips, as soon as I got back to Devon I was busy in the garden, deadheading our daffodils, and as I worked away, seeing signs of new life all around, it was clear that despite the up and down weather, spring really is springing.
Before we know it, it’ll be summer, and – sorry to be the bearer of bad news – on the other side of summer lies autumn and winter once more.
And if 2024 was going to be the year where you got your garage sorted, now is the time to start organising it so you can get any required planning permission, and get your installation date in late summer, so your garage is good to go as you head into winter.
Whether it’s a garage you’re after, or something else, the diary is filling up, so get in touch today and we’ll get the process moving – email sales@shieldsbuildings.co.uk or call 01837 82442 Today!
