As we are now just into June, I’m looking back at the year and can scarcely believe how quickly it’s gone. It feels like only yesterday we were ringing in the new year, and yet here we are, just a day away from the Jubilee celebrations, which felt a long way away during the cold, wet winter.
As they say, time flies when you’re having fun, and we’ve definitely had a fun (and busy) first half of the year, with a steady stream of garden buildings to install for our lovely customers.
Our team in the workshop and on location have done a sterling job, and that’s why, at 5pm on Wednesday, they’re putting their tools down, and not picking them up again until Monday 6th June - they’ve definitely earned a rest!
We’ll re-open again fully on the 6th, but for the two bank holidays and the weekend that follows it, the office will be closed.
However, if the bank holiday finally gives you the breathing space to come and visit the show buildings, feel free to pop by – just bear in mind that it’s best to make an appointment if you would like someone to show you around. You are of course very welcome to browse at your leisure.
And if you’d like to make an appointment for when we are back in the office, just let me know.
Finally, I hope you have a wonderful bank holiday celebrating the Jubilee – it really is a remarkable achievement for our Queen and a great moment to commemorate (hopefully in the garden!!).
