I hope you had a superb bank holiday and really enjoyed the weather? It was absolutely glorious here at the Farm, which made relative lockdown all that more bearable. It was great to spend some time with the girls, because there’s zero doubt that things are ramping up here, and we’ll be very busy for the next few weeks.
Summer 2020 – they’re calling it the ‘summer of the staycation’. With borders closed, flights grounded and travel restricted, we’re all going to be spending more time at home than we usually would.
If you tuned into Boris’s speech on Sunday night, watched the news conferences, or you’ve done anything online, you’ll know that the emphasis of the Government’s message has changed. As we move into this next phase, they seem to be slowly encouraging society to get back to something approaching normality, whilst remaining alert and vigilant to prevent the spread of the virus.
Got any plans for the bank holiday? We’ve got a big weekend coming up – it’s a family wedding, so we’re heading to France, for what should be a fantastic occasion; love, laughter and lots of wine. Not really.
