If you tuned into Boris’s speech on Sunday night, watched the news conferences, or you’ve done anything online, you’ll know that the emphasis of the Government’s message has changed. As we move into this next phase, they seem to be slowly encouraging society to get back to something approaching normality, whilst remaining alert and vigilant to prevent the spread of the virus.
Clearly it will be a long road to recovery, and with social distancing still hugely important, we’re still a long way from 'normality'.
But we’re on the way!
Which means that while Shields Buildings aren’t operating as 'normal' yet, the good news is we will be from TUESDAY 26 MAY and the Display site is open NOW.
We’ve definitely been encouraged by the words from the Chief Scientific Advisor regarding the much, much lower chances of spreading the virus outdoors, and feel confident that from then we will be in a position to:
Are you ready to get the ball rolling?
We’ve had lots of conversations with people who have had to put their garden building aspirations on hold as a result of the pandemic, and if you’re one of them, you might now be ready to cautiously get the ball rolling.
As a reminder, we do free site visits, which can be done entirely outdoors, so if you’d like to get one of those booked in, just reply to this email.
The display is open NOW and you can come over, or book an appointment, so if you’d like to book one, please let us know.
The truth is that our ‘roadmap’ will still see lots of us spending lots of time at home this summer, and if a garden building will help you with that challenge, then we can help, so please get in touch and we’ll work out the best and safest way to proceed.
