We recently had the honour of working with the wonderful Cath Kidston to create her a beautiful, attractive log store, and the end result is rather stunning.
Given the size, scale, and location of Cath’s log store, she needed to apply for planning permission. We took care of all that, taking the necessary photographs, submitting the plans, and getting it over the line, as well as providing base plans, so that her builder could install the foundations.
Set in a wooded area on her property, there were a few obstacles – a few trees included!
A couple of dead trees had to be removed, and a tree survey completed, while the size and design had to blend in with the woodland setting, both aesthetically and practically.
With planning approved, we got to work. The design of the log store was rather like our double carports; with a high apex roof, attractive frontage and plenty of space, and the end result is a log store that looks beautiful in situ and will store A LOT of logs!
