The timber cladding
For all external timber we use the slower-growing northern European Redwood. We only use the highest quality wood from sustainable and carefully managed sources. It is pressure treated to protect against rot and insects – and it really does look special.
The proofer
While the Redwood looks beautiful in its naked state, it will naturally fade and soften over time. That’s why your exterior timber will receive two coats of premium oil-based clear water proofer. That means extra protection against the weather and a longer lasting structure.
The paint
Want your structure to match a nearby building? Or is there a particular colour that you just love? We’ll use two coats of Sadolin Superdec to paint your exterior walls. The paint always goes to the very edge of the board to eliminate lines appearing if the building contracts during warmer weather.
