  Open carport/garage combination - I can highly recommend Shields Garden Buildings if you are thinking of any kind of structure from a shed upwards.  The website is excellent & a good starting point.  A visit to the 'showroom' is recommended. Our first meeting was with Harry who provided some excellent initial advice & information & showed us the kind of structure we could expect when we visited their site. Paul the MD was also very helpful in dealing with the planning application.  Both friendly & very professional and helped us through the initial stages until a final decision re specification made. Also a big thank you to the excellent onsite team for their great efforts especially in the current high temperatures.  Friendly, professional & very tidy at the end of each day.  They clearly enjoy what they do & are very skilled ensuring a lovely finish.

  The whole process, from looking at the display of buildings at the farm to installation of my workshop/shed, was a pleasure because of the high standards set by every member of the Shields team I had dealings with. Communication was excellent in discussing a series of choices and modifications with Paul to ensure that the final design was what I wanted and suited the site, and he was very effective in getting planning permission.   We wanted to use a fairly local business.  Being able to see buildings in situ helped and then to sit down and work through our specifications was straightforward.  The studio was erected quickly and efficiently and they went out of their way to ensure we were happy with the progress.  Great attention was paid to detail and slight changes required (due to my change of mind) were made without fuss.  The whole team ensured that we were happy with the final product.

  We had an outstanding experience with Shields Buildings from start to finish, and I can honestly say we are absolutely delighted with the entire process and the final result. From the very beginning, Harry was incredibly informative and patient, guiding me through the design process and helping me choose the perfect colour scheme and finishes. His advice, knowledge and attention to detail made the selection process feel straightforward and enjoyable. Paul oversaw the whole project with true professionalism and care. He kept me regularly updated and ensured everything progressed smoothly and on schedule. Having that level of communication and reassurance throughout made such a difference and meant the whole experience felt stress-free. The fitting team — Aaron, Neil, Mike and Raph — were absolutely exceptional. They worked tirelessly in all weather conditions (some of them truly horrendous!) to keep to the time frame. Despite the challenging conditions, they remained polite, professional and incredibly hardworking. Their commitment and work ethic were impressive, and it was clear they take real pride in what they do. A big thank you as well to the brilliant electrical team who finished the building off perfectly — their work was the final touch that brought everything together beautifully. I genuinely could not be happier with my new studio. It is everything I had hoped for and more — beautifully finished, solidly built and exactly as I had envisioned. I cannot wait to start working in it. The service, communication and final result simply could not have been better. I would highly recommend Shields Buildings without hesitation. A first-class company delivering a first-class result.
