Timber Workshop Buildings
Timber Workshop Buildings
A timber workshop can add useful extra space to your home for DIY, a hobby room, storing garden equipment and machinery, keeping cycles or motorbikes. Whatever your workshop is for, we work with you to design your perfect space before the team at de Bathe Farm build and install it for you.
As our workshops are over 3.5m x 3m, they’re classified as larger buildings, which means that whatever activity you’ve got planned, you’ll have plenty of space to do it. Your building can also be insulated to allow you to use it all year round.

TIMBER WORKSHOP - FEATURED CASE STUDIES
Our client required a practical workshop that would fit within a very specific area of their garden, surrounded by established hedging and boundary walls. We worked closely with them to understand exactly how the space would be used, ensuring every aspect of the design was tailored to their requirements and the constraints of the site.
The customer in question had a good idea of what he wanted – a bespoke workshop that could be used partly for woodworking, and partly for exercise; two fairly diverse interests that needed tying together.
Nick visited the display site, with his drawings and designs, and together we came up with a building that fulfilled all the requirements.
The design itself was extremely bespoke, featuring an insulated floor by our team, with larger wall timbers so that the customer could insulate and line the rest himself, as and when he had the time to do so.
In addition, the design also featured internal partition walls, creating two separate rooms, with precise window and door placements in order to accommodate the customer’s woodworking machinery.
"The building looks great and is a credit to you and your team."
