On visiting our display site Mr and Mrs D were immediately drawn to our ZERO range – zero maintenance, zero planning, zero hassle.
They zeroed in (see what we did there?!) on a 5x3m studio, and the process began, with our team heading out for a site visit.
After ironing out some access issues, our team got to work, crafting the building on-site here at Shields Buildings, and delivering and assembling the ZERO studio, ready to be enjoyed by our customers.

Your garden gym will be installed with a robust, heavy duty 18mm OSB sub-floor as standard. You can choose to include a wood effect flooring, a specialist rubber gym flooring or apply a finish of your choice after our build.
Can you install electrical points?
Yes. We can install multiple electrical sockets and lighting to power all your fitness equipment.
How much maintenance is required?
Our timber garden gyms need occasional treatment, while the ZERO composite option is virtually maintenance free.

The best way to understand a Shields building is to stand inside one, look up at the ceiling height, feel the natural light and run your hand over timber that’s all made here on our farm.
That’s why most of our projects start with a visit. You can wander round garden rooms, offices, studios, garages and more at your own pace, with no pressure and no sales pitch. Take your time, picture it in your own garden and chat to the team about what’s possible whenever you’re ready.
We’re open Monday to Saturday, so come and see us whenever suits you. There’s no appointment needed during the week, and if you’re popping by at the weekend a quick call ahead means someone will be on hand to talk things through.
