The day that lasts a month

And…breathe – it’s over!

I’ve never quite understood how retailers can make Black Friday last an entire month, but that’s exactly what they did this November, with more email offers flooding my inbox than ever before.

And if you’ve read any pieces about the sales bonanza, you’ll know that many of those offers were not offers at all.

Instead, they offered artificial reductions on products that had been artificially inflated, all with the aim of trying to make the sale and get the money. It won’t surprise you to learn that we didn’t participate in this initiative. You see, we believe in offering a fair exchange of value for money 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.

Our timber garden buildings are not the cheapest, and we certainly don’t offer ludicrous discounts on them, but the truth is that our customers are always happier with the end result than they ever could be with a half-price widget from Amazon.
