Staying where they are

Well, the world is a rather crazy place this week. With queues at garage forecourts all over the country, petrol and diesel has become like gold dust.

And unsurprisingly, it’s now being reflected in the cost of fuel.

 Hopefully the petrol price rise is only temporary, but there are plenty of other products and services that have gone up massively in price, and will stay there for the foreseeable future.

We saw exactly this problem earlier in the year, with timber prices skyrocketing, but thankfully we’ve been able to secure a good supply of timber so we can fulfil all our orders at the right price.

So, while other prices are rising, Shields Buildings costs are staying exactly where they are for the rest of the year.

Who knows what 2022 will bring, but with inflation creeping up, it seems likely that the cost of pretty much everything is going to have to rise, including timber garden buildings.

But for now, our prices are staying flat, so you can be sure you’re securing your building at the keenest price possible.
