In for spring

Despite a couple of warmer days at the back end of last week, it really does now feel like we’re settling down for winter.

The mince pies are in the shops, the nights are drawing in and the Great British Bake Off and Strictly Come Dancing are leading us gently towards the festive season.

And despite it being a time of year where we’re called by the great indoors, the team at Shields Buildings are still cracking on, crafting buildings, and transforming outdoor spaces.

As you’d expect, after the last couple of years, demand for timber garden buildings is through the roof, but we are continuing to make our way through all of our projects in good time.

What we’ve found in previous years is that enquiries tend to slow down as we approach Christmas, and then ratchet up again as we head into February, with customers keen to get their buildings in for spring.

However – thanks to the amount of work we’re making our way through at the moment – the best way you can guarantee to have your building in the spring is to start the process now.
