Garden Room

We had lunch recently with some people based here in the South West, who we’ve just created a brand new timber garden building for, and an interesting question was raised:

“What do you call your building?”

 Theirs is a combination of an art studio and a shed, so it’s not straightforward – shed rather downplays how nice it is, but you don’t tend to keep spades in a studio!

They weren’t keen on any hybrids (Shedio, Stued or similar), and as it turns out, they go for the catch all – Garden Room.

I don’t think they’re alone; from analysing our website stats, a lot of people get to us by searching for garden rooms, so I’m putting a renewed effort into making sure we show up when people are looking!

In the meantime, whether you’ve got your timber garden building yet or not, what are you calling it?
