Sometimes, in the hurly burly nature of daily life, it’s easy to forget why you do what you do. You snap into autopilot, doing the same tasks that need doing, without really thinking.
And then something stops you in your tracks, and reminds you with perfect clarity.
I had one of those moments last week, when a fantastic review came in from one of our happy customers, Andrew Gilyeat.
We recently installed a garden office for him, and he took the time to write about the Shields Buildings experience, listing off all of the things that he was particularly impressed with. And right then and there, I was reminded of why we do what we do.
Here’s the review, along with a picture of Andrew’s finished project:
“Having spent many months researching a solution for my new garden office, I cannot be more pleased that I chose John and the team at Shields to carry out the project. I spent time at the North Tawton site with John looking at the various specs and finishes available which meant I was confident in my choices.
The communication from Paul was great throughout with any questions I had being replied to quickly.
The installation process was easy with the 3 guys being prompt every day (despite an 80 mile journey). The team were extremely polite and courteous throughout the build.
Delighted with the outcome, the office sits well in the garden and I am already happily working in there.
I would have no hesitation in very highly recommending John and his team to anyone considering such a project.”
