Bespoke or off the shelf

Here’s a pretty common question for us here at Shields Buildings:

“I’ve been quoted XYZ for a garden building, can you match it or beat it?”

 We’re not in the business of matching quotes without getting more information though, so we delve into exactly what they want, and understand precisely what they’ve been quoted.

And in a huge majority of cases, they’ve been offered a standard size building that comes directly off the shelf, with no customisation or choice available.

Once we’ve worked that out, we’re able to answer the question: can we match it or beat it?

No.  And you wouldn’t want us to.

Every Shields Building is unique, and made-to-measure.  We don’t do off the shelf, and you don’t have to pick from a list of standard sizes.

Instead, we create a building that suits your needs, no matter the dimensions, whatever the extras.
