Heated Garden Studio Building

Adding value

Today, I just wanted to share something that we’ve known for a while, but probably haven’t ever really communicated – the impact that a garden building has on the value of your home.

You’re unlikely to devote the time and expense to a garden building purely for the value it adds to your house, but it’s a happy byproduct of the value that it can create for you right now.

And when you think about it: it makes sense.

After all, a valuer will typically value a property at least partly based on the number of rooms – the more rooms and the more space, the higher the value of the property.

The trouble is, building an extension is hugely costly and time-consuming, which leaves you weighing up the pros and cons of investing with the hope of recouping that investment.

But with a garden building, you’ve increased living space and given the valuer something else to take into consideration, without any time or effort on your part; not to mention the planning permission!

Contact us now if you want to talk about the logistics of creating extra value in your property.
