Okay, I admit it, I’m a Rightmove scroller. Always have been, always will be. Even with no desire to move, I love to have a nose around, find out what’s on sale, have a peek inside houses, and get ideas for interior design.

I was doing my usual scroll the other day, when I came across an interesting feature – seven homes with garden buildings.

And what’s interesting is that in each of the listings, the garden building was being sold as a significant benefit, additional to the main property.

It’s not something we usually talk much about, but the reality is that the right garden building in the right place can often add additional value to your overall property when you come to sell it.

Of course, that’s not why you’re getting it in the here and now. That’s all about your needs for the present, improving your home for your family immediately.
