Our client wanted to replace an ageing garden building and rotten decking area with a high-quality garden room that could be enjoyed throughout the year. Working closely with them from the outset, we developed a design that made the most of the available space while ensuring the finished building complemented both the garden and the property. We managed the entire project from start to finish, providing a single point of contact throughout.
Overcoming Obstacles
A key challenge was maximising the internal height and sense of space while remaining fully compliant with Permitted Development regulations. Careful design and construction allowed us to achieve a spacious, light-filled interior without exceeding the permitted height restrictions. We also coordinated the removal of the existing structure and deteriorated decking, ensuring a smooth transition from old to new.
What Was Achieved
The completed project is a luxurious, fully insulated garden studio that can be used comfortably all year round. As part of our turnkey service, we handled every aspect of the project, including demolition, construction, decoration, electrical installation and the creation of a new composite decking area.
