Within weeks of moving to their new home, Peter and Julie arrived at Shields Buildings to look at our display products. Being experts in outdoor buildings and storage solutions, we understood just how urgently they needed somewhere to put their possessions. The thing is, they didn’t know exactly what they were looking for, but wanted somewhere to protect their cars and to store their posessions. John was able to offer some useful suggestions for them.
Soon after their visit, John Shields took a trip to see them to work out how we could help in the space they had available. There was a concrete yard that could work for the buildings to be sited on, but there was a small slope to work with. To solve the problem, John suggested laying a row of bricks on the concrete, which would provide a level platform for the wall panels of the garage and store building.
Their cars are nicely protected against the elements and their possessions are warm and dry inside the insulated and lined building. And they look the part too! Using synthetic slate roof and galvanised steel guttering on both the buildings they blend in beautifully with their house nearby.
