Combination Carport with Synthetic Slate roof

Our customer in Cornwall was looking for a truly bespoke building that combined a practical garage, carport and secure storage solution within a single structure. Working closely with them, we developed a 6m x 5.3m design that incorporated a dedicated shed area within the garage and carefully selected synthetic slate roof finishes to complement the existing property.
Overcoming Obstacles
This project presented several unique design challenges, requiring a bespoke layout that balanced vehicle storage, workshop space and secure access. We constructed an OSB-lined shed within the rear of the garage section, complete with an internally opening access door from the carport, ensuring the space remained both practical and secure while maintaining a clean overall design.
What Was Achieved
The finished building is a highly functional and attractive addition to the property, combining multiple uses under one roof. The Pewter Grey synthetic slate roof and Brick Red ridge tiles create a striking appearance that ties beautifully into the customer’s home, while the tailored layout demonstrates the flexibility and craftsmanship that can be achieved through a truly bespoke design.
