Our client wanted a stylish garden room that would make the most of their beautiful garden and surrounding views while fitting seamlessly into a challenging sloping site. Working closely with them, we designed a bespoke building layout that provided practical day-to-day access via a side entrance door, alongside a large sliding door opening directly onto the decking area.
Overcoming Obstacles
The site’s natural slope presented a challenge, particularly when balancing the desired building size with height restrictions. By carefully designing the foundations and partially excavating the base, we were able to reduce the finished height while still creating a spacious and comfortable interior. Every aspect of the design was tailored to suit the site’s unique characteristics.
What Was Achieved
The finished garden room provides a bright, comfortable and fully insulated space that can be enjoyed throughout the year. Complete with flooring, decoration, electrical installation and a generous decking area, the building takes full advantage of the garden setting and views beyond. The large sliding doors create a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces, delivering a practical and luxurious extension of the home.
