A question I’ve been asked quite a bit recently is:
It’s confirmed; we’re off to bonny Scotland on holiday. After getting over the disappointment of our cancelled trip Stateside, we’ve regrouped, and we’re planning on heading north of the border.
For some reason, every year I assume that July is going to be a scorcher of a month. I think it’s because my memories of childhood include school wrapping up for the summer, and giving way to beach visits, ice creams and garden parties. Whatever the reason, I need to get it out of my head, because it’s clearly a wildly inaccurate assumption!
Now it’s official – we can go on holiday this summer. The government finally released the list of countries on the ‘air bridge’ list last week, prompting holidaymakers to jump online, or head to their local agent to book something up.
We’ve been busy recently. To be honest, that’s a bit of an understatement. As lockdown eases, and people come out of hibernation, projects for bespoke timber buildings are popping up all over the place.
