Insulated Man cave

The Man Cave

I'm hanging on to Summer by my fingernails as Autumn is taking hold across Devon and my mind wanders to the new Man Cave we've designed and installed here at the display site. I know, sorry ladies, we could have called it the She Shed – but I have exciting plans for one of those in the future!  In fact, there is of course absolutely no reason why it can’t be used by anyone for anything.

The Man Cave is a roomy 3.5m x 2.5m insulated timber building with pent roof (sloping) at just 2.5m high, so perfect if you want to keep the height of the building down, but still giving you plenty of room inside.

We opted for a half glazed golden oak door, behind which you will find an interior full of natural light, with the 3 pane window working it’s magic. The door position on the end wall provides even more space inside waiting to be filled with your next project.

Man Cave Ideas

Want something different? Have your own ideas? No problem, you can choose the size of your building and have the windows positioned where they are most suitable for your dream "get-away-from-it-all-for-a-while" Man Cave.

All insulated buildings come with an electrical pack as standard, so you can create your own office or maybe leisure room if  X-Box is more your thing? Of course, you don’t have to have the electrical pack if heating and lights are not required. Whatever you are planning to do, this insulated option works well for year-round use.

Due to its size, Planning Permission isn't usually needed, even if you are positioning a building like this within 2m of your boundary, as it complies with the 2.5m height restriction but do check with our team here first.

Come along and take a look, I am sure you will find it easy to imagine yourself creating grand schemes, world domination or having gentlemanly snoozes in there!

If this has sparked a timber building idea of your own, then come and see us, drop us an email or call our friendly team on 01837 82442 to discuss your ideas.
